the infinity engine (Version 0.12)
This is one of the project where i am currently working on. This is one of my biggest projects ever, and I spend much time on it. (I started developing this engine back in late 2013)
IDEA BEHIND THE CODE
The engine itself doesn't look really powerful to someone who uses unity, but it does if you compare it with the 3D graphics made with GameMaker 8. The engine contains a basic form of AntiAlliassing (a costum technique for surfaces, because GameMaker doesn't support MSAA at all), Sunshafts, Lensflares combined with Post-Processing, Color Grading, Objects that are effected by wind, and much more.
Its designed to run at older machines, and for GameMaker games with high graphics. This engine works only in GameMkaer 8 at the moment, but im still trying to port it to GameMaker Studio (so The engine is cross-platform). The engine will also work with a controller in the future. The engine itself in not much hard-coded
